Lauren Gault
Lauren Gault is an artist born in Belfast (1986), working predominantly in sculpture and installation. She graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design in Dundee in 2008 and continues to work between Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Recent solo exhibitions include: C I T H R A, Gasworks London, 2020; forgets in knots, Kantine, Brussels, 2019; drye eyes, Grand Union, Birmingham (upcoming 2019); O-n, curated by David Dale Gallery, Glasgow at The Workbench, Milan (upcoming 2019); present cOmpany, CCA Derry-Londonderry, Derry (2018; sequins, (with Sarah Rose), Glasgow International, Forth and Clyde Canal, (2018); lumpers and splitters, Prairie Underground, Seattle (2017); he was there when I first smelled the smell, and now he is the smell, (with Zoe Claire Miller) Rinomina, Paris, (2016); lipstick-NASA, Jupiter Artland, (2015); fugue states (with Allison Gibbs), Centre for Contemporary Art, Glasgow (2015). Lauren currently has a solo exhibition Cithra at The Tetley, Leeds running until 3 Jan 2022, and has an upcoming solo exhibition guest curated by Katherine Murphy at Temple Bar Gallery + Studios, Dublin, May 2022.
