Across all TULCA Galleries
10-22 November 2026
9am-4pm
The TULCA Education Team offers Gallery Engagement Sessions for Primary and Post-Primary school groups as part of TULCA 2026. These visits give students and teachers an opportunity to explore contemporary art together and engage with selected works from the festival.
Using Visual Thinking Strategies, the sessions encourage students to look closely, share their own interpretations and take part in open, learner-centred discussions around the artworks.
Sessions are tailored to different educational levels. Worksheets with reflective exercises and practical activities will also be available for groups to take back to the classroom.
School group bookings are available during weekdays, with sessions running every hour from 9am to 4pm. Each session lasts approximately 45 minutes. Advance booking is required and subject to availability.
Capacity: No minimum, maximum 40 per group (subject to venue capacity)
Age: Primary and Post-Primary
Bookings: To make a booking, please contact Aoife Natsumi Frehan, Education Coordinator, at education@tulca.ie
Access: The TULCA Education team is based in the TULCA Gallery, 19 Eyre Square during the festival.
Sessions can be arranged for other TULCA Galleries. Each venue has its own capacity and accessibility.
