Marking fifty years since punk emerged as a disruptive cultural force, TULCA 2026: Veruca Salt considers what it means to know who you are and know what you want. Curated by Sinéad Keogh, the festival approaches punk not as a fixed historical style, but as a living method rooted in DIY culture, collective action and self-determination.

At An Post Gallery, the exhibition brings together sculpture, installation, painting, performance and community-led work by Domestic Violence Response Galway / Tina Collective, Paula Fitzsimons, Russell Hart, Seiko Hayase, Evgeniya Martirosyan, Enoch Miekutima Matondo and Kate McSharry. Across the exhibition, materials and gestures associated with care, labour, identity and resistance are reworked through punk and DIY approaches.
